Fire damaged huh. Did you by chance get it from Texas? There was a TD on the Samba that was listed as fire damaged and was located in Texas. Just wondering. We’ll help as much as we can.

It’s not the same as a stock VW. Samba had a video on removing the brake drum.  There is a special tool for removing the big nut. It has about 200 lb torque and probably rusted and froze.

It’s all about the ohms.
