John,
I stopped by Northern Tools this afternoon to pick up the handle for my car, and it is better than I remembered, you will be pleased with it when you get yours. The bin was full of them, each wrapped for protection. They also have very nice chrome air horns if you’re in the market. -

Hi Dave,
Looks like somebody sat on my TD!
I’ve been around this hobby since 1982 and I have no idea what thsi car is. It’s reminiscent of a Maxi Taxi and a Spartan. But it is not either of those. And to my eyes, not similar enough to be predecessors of either
I’ve reached out to a few non-TD friends. Maybe they’ll come up with something. -

How we doing Frankie? I just want to bring this topic up in the active catagory since the time to renew is getting closer.
It only takes a minute to click a few buttons and help keep this site running. For the price of just one fast food lunch, you can help. We all need to be on the slimmer side to get in our TD’s, so instead of that burger, send…[Read more] -

Bill,
I hope you are doing alright. I am sure you have looked at that empty space in the driveway many times over the past nine days.
You have made her new owner a very happy person with a very fine automobile. I remember when I got mine, how I could sit forever behind the wheel in the driveway and dream of fun times ahead, like when Geoff got…[Read more] -

Cool. I did a paper Volvo S80, which was a very simple one.And I did a paper model of the entire original NYC World Trade Center complex which came out pretty cool.

John,If you have any problems with getting the handle, let me know and I can pick up one here and drop it in the mail to you. There is a Northern Tool about five miles from my house that is huge, it appears to be a distribution center. The showroom area was a K-Mart, and the warehouse area was a Kroger next to it. Who knows, your handle may ship…[Read more]

James it sounds like I’m plowing the same ground you did. I build my seat mount boxes 1″ lower than the original fiberglass ones but it isn’t yet low enough. I’m going to lower it another 1 1/2″ this time with the back side even lower. Tilting the seat back has really helped comfort for driver and passenger.
I ordered the Norther Tool ha…[Read more] -

Hawk,
I was afraid I would be arrested fondling that handle in the store in front of everyone. It was smooth as silk on all surfaces and actually had a good feel as much as a handle could feel good. There were many things in the Northern Tools store that I will be getting for my car, so be sure to look around with your car in mind. The handle…[Read more]
