The VW body is made to bolt to a VW floor pan. It had no floor and the “rocker rails” are totally different than the Ford or Chevy bodies. the Ford and Chevy bodies have a molded fiberglass floor that the body gets bonded to. It would appear to me the wheel brake cylinders have probably rusted and hanging the pistons inside. At the very least I would replace the flexible brake lines that go to each wheel and wheel cylinders. Values are toough to establish for these cars. But a watchful eye on ebay or craig’s list auctions is one way to estimate a selling price. I’ve seen some extremes, but a quick guess is around $5,000.
