If that’s running two single contact bulbs, change the pigtail in the socket behind “Stop” to a dual contact.

Yes, my seat bases were replaces with a couple pieces of angle iron. The corner of the shelf has extra padding behind the carpet. It’s right in the lumbar region of your lower back and I don’t find it uncomfortable at all. Just like blondes and brunettes, everyone has a different preference.

Yes, I’ve moved that seat back to mount up on the rear shelf. Just move it back to where you are comfortable then cut it down to keep the height reasonable. I moved it 4 times before it got to where it is now.

You can never have too many ground cables/straps.

I was thinking along the same lines as Ed but I was pushing snow up to my hood on the Subaru this morning. Had to dig myself out twice just to get to work. Traction not the problem, just not enough ground clearance. The MG can rest quietly.

I had quarter windows installed on the first top. I was driving the car on a daily basis for a couple years and these windows greatly improved visibility making it safer to drive.

Jack, you should be glad that you are as compact as you are. It makes that chore much easier.

I carry the Eden Pure style heater from my basement room to the garage when I work there in the winter. Heats that space wonderfully.

A V6 car? Cool. Gabe built one totally custom. The automatic should be a C3 or C4 assuming it’s only a three speed.

I like the color combo. I don’t recall seeing another one like it. Definitely a unique approach on the dash layout. Wires!!

Cut that silly bolt on original bracket and had the strut mount welded to the 8″ housing.

Reused the kits upper center strut. Already had the panhard rod installed so all I needed was the two lower links. I just measured and adjusted so the wheels were centered in their fenders and the wheelbase was the same side to side. Quite simple really.

Just reread your initial post concerning a 5-speed conversion. I used a Thunderbird Turbo coupe bellhousing. I snagged the flywheel and clutch while I was at it. Any T-5 trans will mate with this. To simplify this, there are two you can use. A V8 trans and a 4cyl. trans. The only major differences are input and output shafts. The 4 cyl has a…[Read more]
