Good to hear, Bill. 70s and 80s in Baltimore this week but I’m too booked-up at work to drive Bridget. I also took the rear drums off (finally) to R&R them…so she’s right now on jack stands until at least the weekend. Sigh.

Hope the eye problems are temporary and not too serious.

Your volt meter should drop to “0” when the key is off.

Take the gauge off the battery, as instructed.

Yes. Hit the link for a picture. Cable clamps you can buy at Home Depot or any hardware store.

The master cylinder has only apx 1-1/4″ of travel. The position of the rod on the pedal allows only that amount of travel before it hits the floor while still retaining decent pedal height. I’m thinking of welding a spacer between two rods. One rod off the cylinder and one off the pedal.

U clamps work just fine. My car’s cable was looped through a single cable clamp and it stayed fast for decades. When I replaced it I went sort of overboard.

I’m interested on hearing about the frame-stiffener install too.  I’ve been thinking about doing it too.
