My wife and I did the carpet on my VWTD. We used the carpet called automotive carpet from EBAY. We bought two yards. We bound the edges with leather from an old coat. The person who used to have MGMagic had a list that gave original buyers of the cars and kits. I don’t know if that info went to the new owners or not, but it would be worth checking.

If you covered it, no one would ever get to see the “tarantula orgy” that passes for wiring in most of our cars.

I have seats out of a 71-73 Pinto. Low back, no headrest. Mine aren’t adjustable, but could be.

An off-the-wall thought.  Brake hoses can internally delaminate and the hanging piece of rubber inside can keep the brake from releasing fully.  This can cause a pull or make that brake run hot.

You could back a car onto a trailer.

I belong to the local British Sports Car Club.  We can even enter our cars in the British Bash car show.  There are three replicas (TD types that is) in the club.  Nice people, they are the ones that spotted the car that became my second replica.
