Bill, The wheels look too far forward. How is how is the spring cut affecting fore/aft positioning? And for what it’s worth, the rear wheels on VW based Classic Roadsters Ltd Duchess cars could be better centered too.

That’s a nice looking car.
I’d like to have it just to have the hardtop to my Duchess. Then I’d resell the car.If anyone buys this and does not want the hard top…talk to me! We can work a deal. That said, I finally learned how Classic Roadsters attached the hard top and hard side curtains. I could never figure that out from any of th… -

Whatever issues the first fabricator was having, it still sounds like he’s a stand up guy.
Good luck with take two! -

This is good stuff. Like I wrote earlier, the beauty of “hand built.”
I’m not home to measure my hood. I will this weekend. But I predict that one side of the hood is a quarter inch or so shorter than the other side. Why? Because the entire car is just a wee bit out of kilter. You’d never know it from curbside. But the measuring tape never l… -

Hi wings….
This is going to be a fun thread to watch.Your question is perfectly logical…but….If six owners respond, I’m willing to bet you will receive six slightly different answers. Remember, for the most part, these are hand built cars, even the “factory builds.”And the only measurement that will really matter is the one on your car… -

Pretty sure it was Florida based Classic Motor Carriages (the Gazelle company) that bought FiberFab. The company was sued, by customers and by the state and eventually put out of business. But resurfaced as “Street Beasts” and a number of other guises.
They also bought Classic Roadsters Ltd. away from founder Gary Rutherford. After seeing what C… -

Paul,Can’t address all of that, since my Duchess is VW powered. In general, body parts will not be interchangeable between a FiberFab and a Classic Roadsters Ltd. Duchess. Same goes for most interior panels. And I suspect for the roof and curtains also.Fit and finish are highly subjective. And outright declarations may start a firestorm. :!:I won’t…[Read more]
