Mrs Wobby Just informed me that there was this new thing called WiFi and she has this high tech thing called an ipad that goes on the site from wherever she is. Sooo she constantly has contact with whatever website she would like. Basicly I wasted a bunch of time. Amazing how much the world has changed in a few short months, Yet how little has…[Read more]

my 2 cents
Most after market exhausts are load, The more exits or pipes, like the monza type increse loadness. the mufflers thes use are nothing more than expansion chambers. if you would like a quiter car get an original vw exhaust system or even one of the early single piem type. You will sacrifice some preformance. -

So two brown bottles and and old filter, I mean why throw them away, I might not be able to find one someday and need it. A lighter and 5 minutes to spare. Many years ago a friend of mine and I started racing btogether. We raced anything , Motorcycles, Snow machines, Pick-ups, Go-carts. anything. We realized at some point that the way to prosper in this endeavor was th build and reepair, Not race. We started a little shop and built a couple frames, all while we did our normal jobs. We hired a mnger…[Read more]

My seat has a set of adjustment rails. They look like old VW seat rails attached to the seat tub and the pan. This allows the seat to be adjusted for Mrs Wobby or myself. Also the back of my seat has a marine slide bar so I can make the back more upright. I think I have pictures of back of seat in photos. If needed I will pull seat and post pi…[Read more]

Don’t know about torq, but you always tighten to the rear. loosen towards front. Drivers side is not interchangable with the wifes side.

If I were buying a prebuilt or crate, Ild go with Autocraft, Mike and Barry are great guys and have been working VWs for a lifetime. Seconf choice Air cooled Technology Jake is a great source and is a hands on person. Both have custom plans and offer build kits that you can build or add on as you go. This isn’t JC whitney or Mid American. You pay…[Read more]
