Late to the party, but I have a good excuse. Just got back from celebrating our 40th anniversary. I’m about a month away from turning 63, and my bride is . . . younger.

Never thought of that, Ray, although I have been tinkering with the idea of trying to shim the bottom of the two hinges. Will have to check that out. Thanks for the tip.

I just reread the ad, and notice that the photos are “from the Internet.” For all we know, the seller just grabbed the first good-looking T-series MG pictures he or she found and inserted them in the ad. Could well be a TD kit after all.

Looks like it might be a Brazilian Avallone, an MG-TF replica. I’ve never seen one for real, but everything I’ve read online sounds great.Looks like a great little project for Calafer!

Sunny and 73 today in Southeast Texas. Perfect weather for some top-down errands before tucking Percy in the garage and coming in to work in the 12-year-old Ranger. 

It does look sharp in the photo. I especially like that British=style front plate, although I don’t believe it would pass muster with the police here in Texas.

I’m sure this is terribly difficult to bear, Paul, coming so soon after the holidays. But as Allen noted, there will come a time when the pain will be replaced by the warmth and comfort of remembering happier days. My best to you and yours, and most especially to your dad.

Did those fog lamps come with the TD, or did you add them?

I Googled the Wabasto heater, but couldn’t find any information on cost, availability in the U.S. or how (or even whether) it could be used in a VW-powered vehicle like my Lafer.
