I’d rotate the steering box just a bit. It’s only one bolt. If the line was straight before, it’s not now, and you’ll rip your coupler. It’ll take some time, but it will happen.

Well the column has been moved up 4 inches. Pretty much followed the plan above but these was not need to cut the firewall as the BCW had sufficient space nor did I have to rotate the Steering box as the small diff was taken up by the coupler.  Yes a new coupler is soon to be installed. You need to figure out which manufacturer built your TD replica before you shop for parts. One size does not always fit all TD replicas.

Because of all the different manufactures I would try to find who made yours. Prorbably a CMC/ Fiberfab. You might want to get a boat or car upholstery shop to make the top to fit.
