I’d bet yes if I were a betting man, but since I am not a betting man I’d take a tape measure and find out.

Is the battery the same size as a VW bug battery for the 1960’s through 80’s?

Roy’s memory is definitely a blessing. He was generous, mischievous and just the right kind of silly—but you’d never want to have to fight him.
He was a real builder: helped put together two of Jack Breza’s cars and adapted the hubs on his MiGi to fit real wire wheels by himself.
Nuclear sub commander, and ran a bed & breakfast for years.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I put new flex brake lines on my VW based TDR. So, I had to bleed the brakes. Here is method I use. It serms to work best</p>
First, run the brake adjusters all the tight on all four wheels. Then instead of the old “pump and hold” on the brake pedal, I crack open the bleeder and have my assistant slowly push the…[Read more]

And remember, ride height should not be adjusted with the shocks.
Shock absorbers are just that, they control bounce and rebound.
If your car is truly sitting too low, it is more likely the springs. I’m not sure what other adjustments might be available for your Chevette based suspension.

I am getting close to trying to start up my London Roadster. I need a new battery. Does anyone know what size fits under the bench seat?

A good friend to many of us and long time club member Roy Hendrix passed away last week. Roy was a giant among men, literally and figuratively. May he Rest In Peace.

I’d try Rock Auto and look for the rear shocks for a 1977 Chevette.

I’m the 3rd or 4th owner and a lot of the work previously done is shabby. At any rate I removed the rear shocks and don’t know if they are the correct ones. The back of the car sits low. The instructions say TRW 80802 which are not made. Replacement on this site mentioned Monroe 31538. Is that still the case? Those posts were from 2009. I’m…[Read more]

Bill this is fantastic. Your air-fuel ratios are going to be on the money, and throttle response will improve.
