Hi Bill – yeah I am on my laptop but still no joy. I can upload pictures to my media folder but I cannot go to my media folder and display them. I have tried using three different browsers from my laptop. Oh well….

I’ve found that you cannot post photos from an iphone or ipad. Gotta use the desktop or laptop.

Found out that I could change my profile image easily.

Bit the bullet and sprung for Holley’s Sniper EFI conversion kit. It replaces the 4 barrel carb with throttle bodies. Have you tried reaching out to VDO or whatever brand your tach is? Sounds like it might be more of a factory tech service situation than a DIY. That said, did your tach ever work correctly? If it’s always been wonky, there may be calibration switches on the back, but you probably still need mfg’s input to set correctly. Rambling further, if there…[Read more]

Thanks Paul! I appreciate the confirmation. Interesting about the non-vented tanks. You’d think without a vent, you’d have fuel delivery issues to the carb. I think that since this tank has been sitting empty for 40 years, this might be the time to pull it out and get this soldering job knocked out.

Perhaps a bad relay (if there is one in the circuit).

Next up, maybe a bad switch?

Early Duchesses had an aluminum bar slid into the pocket at the leading edge of the roof. I never had an issue with that.

That’s the set up on my Intermeccanica. The fitting for the vent line is just under the gas cap. Loop it after the fitting, then run the hose down and out.
