The adaptors will add 3/4 inch to your track, more or less, each side. And what is the offset on the wires? Might add more width still. Instead of adaptors, you might consider having your hubs drilled to the desired bolt pattern. The Speedster guys have this done all the time & say it’s $100. Leave them alone for now. Tape them up. Fix all the grounds first. THEN see if there’s something that still doesn’t work.Trying to find a “use” or purpose for all the loose wires on a zillion-year-old car that someone else adapted wiring to is a fool’s errand.

Tach works. So does the oil pressure gauge (though I seem to have misplaced the light that goes in it). The fuel gauge is a no-go. The sender reads 63 ohms as it sits, with about 7/8 of a tank.
