Age and wear are separate. Moss tested new-in-wrapper tires mfg’d 10 or 15 years ago and they performed just like very old tires. Very dangerous.

Rain expected here today. But 51 degrees. Will be back on the beam, maybe get the swaybar back on. Then again, maybe not. I’d go with left hand drive just for driving ease. (Just try passing a farm tractor or something with the steering wheel on the right). You may also run into trouble with the steering box cover on your kit, which expects the gear to be on the left and so is relieved for it.
