Sorry Roy, It had the EMPI carb on it when I bought it. Engine is a 1800cc, not stock. I can’t be much help to you.

I have a progressive 2 barrel EMPI carb on my Roadster. Works very well. Dual carbs should be ok

If it is on a Roadster, it should be a stock vw lens for the older model’s 70’s

I do not know. Might replace them this year. If I find out I will let you know.

Royal , I will try to get some pictures for you. The spare tire bracket is stock
for the Roadster. It is a very simple bracket.

The London Roadster has an 1835cc engine. 85 HP
Motor started out as a stock 1600cc.Built at factory.Got this from the spec sheet for the London Roadster.Dick -

I have a 2 car garage, but I am a real neat freak. I lose 2 feet on one side
of the garage for my shelving unit’s, but I can park my London Roadster, Honda CRV
and Honda Civic Hybrid in the garage. All facing forward. -

according to my stock VW friends. The oil they use is a ZDDP oil that is high in Zinc because of the flat tappets. They recommended Brad Penn Racing oil. I went on ebay and bought mine. You can get multi viscosity or straight weight. Depends on where you live as to what weight oil you need.

Greg, Mine has the tabs welded to the front and uses slip pins to attach. We have the same front ends.

I have the by pass filter pump 3030-10 on my roadster. I have the EMPI exhaust. 1970 engine.

Looks like my steel chassis. Factory built London Roadster. Same coilover shocks. Rear shocks inside coil spring suspension. front spindle’s ,rotors, brakes from a 66-71 squareback or fastback.
Car looks great.
