Rich, after some research on the Pinto forums it appears to probably be a problem with the “reverse lock-out ” mechanism on the shifter. I won’t know for sure until It gets here on Monday, but I specifically remember that the shifter wouldn’t depress to get over to the reverse gear. If this is the problem it seems like an easy fix. Update:

   The car, (I’m Naming her Stella after my late Grandmother); Stella was picked up at 7pm EST. It’s been about 3 hours, or 180 miles closer as we speak. Only 2,042 miles left! Should be here Monday!! It’ll be a long week-end for me, and an even longer day at work on Monday, PHEW!

    Nice Ride. She looks alot like mine. I noticed in the side profile photo there is an MG emblem on the bottom of the windshield frame. What is it? Is it a bolt, something to hold the top down, just an emblem?
