My wiper switch stem was not long enough either, so I carved a pocket in the backside of the wood dash for the switch body to rest, and it works perfectly.

Having those windows really would help. I don’t know how accurate the replicas are in relation to the original tub of the TD. To the eye, they look the same. Don’t know about a hardtop fit between the two. Maybe Bill has the right idea, parka…

The measurements for the Fiberfab are here.
This may give you an idea of the size relative to your replica. This frame mounts to the inside and not on top of the tub.
