Classic Roadsters Ltd.’s Duchess was available in VW and front engine versions.
At one point, Classic Roadsters Ltd. was even demoing a front engine V6 Duchess, although I don’t recall if they ever produced any. -

Ha! No. Working on it slowly. But I have no garage to work in. One side is occupied by my ’65 Plymouth Satellite. And the other side with a bunch of “stuff” that belongs in the basement that I do not have>The MG lives in a shed behind the house. Gravel floor with a tarp over the gravel. Not a comfy working place. And at the moment blocked by snow…[Read more]

I should have mentioned two other things:When you upload a picture into a post, it will automatically be added to your photo gallery. And if all you want to do is load a picture to your gallery, open a new message, upload the picture to the message, and then just close the message without posting it.PMOSSBERG40556.8192592593

I don’t claim to know everything about these cars, but I don’t recall ever seeing a Migi with a true four piece folding hood. Of course a previous owner could have done the fabrication work him/herself.dbrock, in a NEW thread, post pictures and let us have a look

Paul Mossberg replied to the topic Front and Rear Parking Light Wires Questi in the forum VW Based Kits 14 years, 8 months ago
Like I said Allen, I’m nearing 30 years on the road and have had zero problems with “exposed” wiring under the fenders.I would not just leave the bare wires tho.Mine are wrapped in the harness covering. If yours are just the wires, I would wrap them.

Rear harness, the same thing.A branch comes of the rear harness and is clamped along the inner rear fender well.

Wow Ed! that is great thinking on the manufacturers part.On Classic Roadsters Duchess, the front harness loom has a branch for the turn signals. It comes out from the lower part of the front compartment. A wire clamp is bolted to one of the headlight cradle bolts, holding it snug and it crosses under the top of the fender to the lamp socket. There…[Read more]

Paul Mossberg replied to the topic lens for bullet light in the forum General Discussion 14 years, 8 months ago
Russ,I’d lie to see your light shell. There were two types that I have seen used on replicas. On the original TD style, the lens “rim” for lack of a better term, is only about an 1/8th of an inch. In other words, from the seat on the bullet, to the leading edge of the lens rim is only 1/8″.On the other style, that same “rim” is over a half inch…[Read more]
