It’s a British Coach Works Replicar and was manufacturered in their plant in PA in 1982.
I can’t wait to get back to Florida (it’s cold in NY), to clean up the fuel system and tune it up. -

It has a ford Pinto under it’s skin (with a Automatic Transmission) which is how I sold the wife on buying it.
I am currently in NY, but the car is in Florida at my home there.
The engine is running a bit rough, but I think it just needs the carb cleaned and a tune up. The car has only 3K miles and was sitting, while the former owner’s…[Read more] -

Depends on the kit, I am using 15″ toyota scion wheel they are 15″ and have the correct number of holes in them like the original td.
Have to make lugs to hold on the td hub caps.

Guests replied to the topic VW Transmission Fluid(?) in the forum VW Based Kits 17 years, 5 months ago
No, Jack – the engine only takes engine oil- I use plain 30W in my 74. If your chassis has a manual transmission, it uses 90W gear oil. If you have an automatic, it takes transmission fluid, and will have a dipstick.
Hope that helps!

There are several aftermarket electrical vendors that have these plunger style switches. It looks like it a standard style screw-in switch that they mounted to the aluminum plate, then screwed the plate to the door jam.
Painless Wiring, Ron Francis Wire Works, American Autowire are a few. I’ll bet yours is available at a local jobber that has a…[Read more] -
