Just a slight bit of patina, appropriate for a reproduction of a 58 year old car!

I figure we’ll all be toast if we have a serious “event” in these cars anyway.
But she’s 17 now and three people don’t fit.

A true TSD rally is a LOT of work to put together.
I’ve done the One Lap of Connecticut a few times. It’s a fund raiser for a children’s hospital.
We WON the first time out. At one point per hundreth of a second off from perfect, we scored a 43. Yes. A 43!

Great stuff!But just for the record. In 1979 I was 21. I built my TD in 1982. And my daughter was born in 1993.So I think that is someone else’s family.Unless….I’ve forgotten a lot more of “those years” than I care to admit! Maybe I have another family out there that I have no recollection of!

It is not a VW defroster. Just a simple blower.Somewhere in the vast recesses of this forum, I think there is a link to the sort of blower I have. I’ll search for it.
