it is perfect I did the same but my inside bracket is an air conditioner PTAC leveler adjuster bracket it works to,,,, comfort is king….. Dan -

SB ,,Gee in 1953 there was no option for a/c I guess we have been spoiled the guys in the north want heaters … I took care of that a heater out of a K car but I remove it in spring even closed it made heat on my wife’s feet

ed ,,,,I think your float would be good ..if the hand only goes to 3/4 on a full tank and it works OK lower than that i would try to adjust it making sure the slider at bottom of the tank and the float arm at the bottom of travel showes empty on mine about 1.5 inches from the bottom of the slide adjuster give it a try ,,,the gauge is only an…[Read more]

Montie , the non vented oil cap could be the trouble
creating to much pressure in the crank case for the pvc alone to vent ?? new engines are basically a sealed system older engines are not if the rings are worn that would create crankcase pressure to great for the PVC alone to vent . just a thought i would go back to stock. Dan -

Montie,- my 2 cents when installing the new gasket did you you use a torque wrench to the wright torque ? — do you have excessive blow buy?………and yes I would replace the belt,, cheep insurance.. Dan

I am not sure but most states title a vehicle by the frame not the body a few will title by what the vehicle looks like but that comes with to many restrictions …. legal drive-ability restrictions good luck,,,,,,,,,,, Dan R

My .02 cents less than a penny
I think i would try heat i have seen body shops use heat on plastic and it works,, fiberglass I don’t know,, but if it was mine, i would try it like oldbuzz said “slow process but it worked ” Dan R -

I never tryed it to do fiberglass but I remember in 1985 a new car dealer i was working for had a company come in and do a black Grand Prix it was a new car but had bad water etched paint at the time the guy who did the work told me that it was sodium silicate,” liquid glass” it may be the same if it is,, it works good to level out paint,,, but…[Read more]

Bill I think i would make a big square out of 3X16 by 7/8 mild steel stock after welding I would glue it to the tank cover on the under side drill and tap where i would mount the[ HAT ] bolts top middle , both sides and 2 on the bottom just a thought,, Good Luck — Dan

Yes,,Ed tank sealers work follow the directions I found that using one inch cut stone work very well i have done many motorcycle tanks remember to change the filter that is before the pump. and ,!!?? &nbs p; good luck ,Dan
